Our latest client, a multinational oil and refined trading products house recently purchased Fendahl Fusion along with implementation and support services.
Fendahl Fusion will be delivered to approximately 20 users initially, rising to over 40 users within the first year. Fusion will be used to record, monitor and report on all transactions from trade entry to settlement including all financial information along with logistics tracking and costs.
This latest client, in a long line, of wins in the Middle East for Fendahl had a very specific list of requirements that they wanted to achieve with the CTRM rollout. The primary objective was to have the CTRM platform live in the shortest possible time as this was a new office and the client did not want to accumulate ad-hoc records in spreadsheets or other mediums. Fendahl managed to “stand up” a SaaS instance of the software for this client in under 48 hours from contract signature.
One of the further requirements from the client were that the solution was already pre-configured with a large percentage of static data required for trading in the Middle East such as product types, blending recipes, market data curves and out of the box workflow patterns that could be adopted quickly.
The client wanted assurances that Fusion was a very modern, robust and had a very flexible reporting engine built in where the client’s own staff could modify reports to analyze data exactly how they and their shareholders required. Fusion proved beyond doubt in the demonstrations and during the roll out phase that the reporting was highly configurable for every instance.
In addition to the functional necessities, the client also wanted to be sure of Fendahls’ capability to deliver a world class solution to a fast-growing multi commodity trading company and to satisfy themselves of this fact, the client contacted a number of existing Fendahl clients. The feedback from existing clients was completely positive towards Fusion and Fendahl and was a major contributing factor to the award of the contract.
