Sawtooth Caverns LLC (Sawtooth), the largest natural gas liquids (NGLs) storage facility in the Western United States (Utah), recently went live with Fendahl’s ETRM solution Fusion.  Fusion will provide Sawtooth with the ability to manage all inventory movement capturing key customer contract details, record inventory gains and loss, distribute customer statements and all invoicing, and provide end of day valuation reports.

In addition to NGL products, Fusion also manages all refined products (gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, etc.), and other refinery feedstocks.

The project was completed in 90 days – on time and on budget.  “With approximately seven million barrels of NGLs and refined products storage capacity in our deep-well salt caverns it was critical that we have a robust and flexible system which can help us manage our business and also be able to scale as we grow” said Dan Myers CEO of Sawtooth.

The facility is strategically located at a crossroads of infrastructure that includes access to the Union Pacific rail system and interstate highways, giving direct access to key markets in the Western United States, Canada, and Mexico.
